- The Shasta internship program was created and is administered by volunteer AFAM members, working in close collaboration with the school administration and third party organizations.
- The Shasta committee cannot afford to respond to all the students seeking help in their search for a U.S. internship. Consequently, it must select only the best applicants. Selection is based on merit only. The Shasta committee will not discriminate based upon gender, religion, or origins. However, the committee reserves the right to turn down applicants whose application or professionalism do not meet the standards upheld by the Shasta program.
